Job Title: Associate Purchasing Analyst
Client: Sports Vehicle Manufacturing Company
Duration: 6 Months (possible extension)
Location: Plymouth, MN, 55442
Work Arrangement: Onsite for training (first 2-4 weeks), then hybrid (onsite 2-3 days/week) Local Candidates Only

- Education or experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing
Job Summary:
Manage Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A) suppliers to ensure timely delivery to distribution facilities. Coordinate with demand planning analysts to purchase quantities that meet inventory and service objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build supplier relationships to drive performance and recover backorders.
- Review recommended purchase quantities with demand planning analysts.
- Approve POs, manage delivery timelines, and address backorder issues.
- Ensure system data integrity (cost, MOQ, lead-time).
- Negotiate cost, lead time, and order quantities to benefit the client.
- Collaborate across departments to meet business goals.
- Proactively identify and escalate urgent issues.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1+ year in supply chain management (MRP, logistics, inventory management)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- Self-directed with minimal supervision
Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment, with remote flexibility per manager's discretion.
