**Job Description**
(U) Responsibilities include
+ providing wireless/RF engineering support on systems, system elements, components, devices and/or processes;
+ applies engineering disciplines to support design, development and implementation activities;
+ reviews, evaluates and analyzes equipment, components, engineering documents, test plans, test data and procedures;
+ conducts installation and maintenance of systems/equipment and provides associated training to customer personnel.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
Requires
+ in-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi or cellular system operations to include current 2G, 3G, 4G, and SG communications networksalong with future technologies,
+ general principles of RF communications and propagation, intermediate expertise on personal computers and associated software, basic networking applications, and
+ direct field experience involving the integration, deployment, optimization, and use of RF system
The position shall require a BS degree and 5 years of directly related experience in any of the following fields to include cellular, Wi-Fi, signals intelligence, or two-way radio communications.
In lieu of a BS degree, 6 years of direct experience in commercial wireless communications
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
Experience in managing programs involving cellular and Wi-Fi operations is strongly preferred.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070
