Chemours is seeking a Mining Transformation Leader to join our growing Titanium Technologies Transformation team. We are seeking proactive and results-driven Transformation Leads to join our Transformation Office. The Mining Transformation Lead will be at the forefront of shaping, planning and helping execute our highest-priority initiatives, redesigning core businesses processes, and helping TT manage significant change across our Mining business. You will collaborate with passionate initiative owners to define charters and business cases, set roadmaps, and establish KPIs, while ensuring seamless project oversight and providing a challenger perspective to ensure success. Your analytical prowess will be put to the test as you track and monitor progress, enforce data and reporting standards, and foster transparency and accountability. You will have significant exposure to business leadership and the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional experts. This role will be a full-time role. It will report directly to the Minerals Business Vice President and take guidance from the TT Transformation Leader. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: + Shape the business case for new initiatives and overall development of transformation portfolio within the Minerals Business + Work closely with other functions such as Operations, Maintenance, Technology and Commercial teams to identify cost reduction & revenue generation initiatives across all Mining opportunity areas. + Focus areas for the Mining workstream will include opportunities such as: + Increasing throughput and reliability from all sites in the Minerals Business + Reducing variable cost through more effective sourcing + Long term asset strategy + Assessing commercial strategy for Zircon and other mineral sales + Collaborate with the Mining Organizational Design leader to ensure actions are in lockstep with this workstream + Lead ideation sessions for new initiatives + Define initiative charter, roadmap and KPIs for new initiatives + Partner with initiative owners to develop rigorous and locked-down project milestones and timelines + Provide coordination and execution coaching to project teams + Provide a 'challenger' perspective - surfacing risks and issues that may compromise initiative success + Ensure projects adhere to data and tracking standards set forth by Transformation Management Office; support tracking of initiative portfolio within own area + Support roll-up of transformation-wide reporting inside Transformation Management Office; report out to senior leaders as needed, and follow up to hold initiative leaders accountable + Share feedback and best practices from own area with Transformation Management Office and vice versa The following is required for this role: + Adequate seniority to demonstrate credibility and build deep relationships with business leads and initiative owners + Demonstrated experience successfully leading significant change + Previous direct people management experience + Understanding of how to use data / KPIs to track value, and manage value delivery risks + Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills, including with executives and senior leaders The following is preferred for this role: + Master Blackbelt, Blackbelt or Agile experience + Meaningful past work experience in Mining or Mineral Processing + Experience working in a matrix or center-of-excellence operating model, requiring you to influence stakeholder without formal authority Benefits: Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Days We're a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
